Perhaps instead the Sportsman’s Room will suit your mood with its overstuffed furniture, relaxing Mission rockers and fireplace. Feel like you’re at the lodge while you read one of our many books or magazines, or enjoy a quiet early morning cup of coffee.




Visit the Tavern where you can work on the current puzzle, play Scrabble or Backgammon, start a friendly game of cards or watch the news, a movie or sports event on the television. We do not carry a liquor license, but instead allow guests to bring beer, wine and spirits to the inn and ask that they be consumed responsibly.



Descend the Tavern stairs and discover the 17’ x 38’ indoor pool, sauna and the casual lounging area with a fireplace. Enjoy the view of the grounds and Mount Kearsarge from poolside, or from the wrap around deck just off the pool area.






The Kids Corner is, well, just for kids. We have filled this space with books, toys, kid size chairs and a small television/video player with lots of movies for the youngsters, all within viewing distance of the Great Room. Also, for everyone’s convenience, a guest bathroom is located just off the Kids Corner and the Great Room.



The Great Room will surprise you with its expansive size, 21’ x 36’, and it will win you over with its timbered ceiling and comfortable relaxed atmosphere, and its charming views of the lawns and pond. Share a sporting event or movie with friends on the 71” big screen television with DVD/Video player, or relax in front of the large brick fireplace. The Great Room lends itself to mingling in small or large groups, playing one of the many board games or gathering to celebrate an event, such as a birthday, anniversary or shower.

Many of our guests find that they are drawn to one space in particular. We believe that you, too, will discover a favorite spot within the inn. Perhaps your preference will be to sit in the pool lounging area with the deck sliders open, listening to the gentle evening chorus of crickets. Maybe you will prefer relaxing in front of the exceptional brick double-sided fireplace in the Tavern, while sipping your favorite beverage and warming your toes. If you tend to travel with a group, possibly you will most partial to the Great Room, where you can play a rousing game of Catch Phrase, Cranium or Mad Gab, just to name a few, any of which are sure to leave you laughing!
